High-quality rectangular cast iron casserole from Petromax, ideal for baking bread, meat, legumes, and many other dishes. It can be used in the oven as well as directly over a fire, in a wood-fired oven, on the BBQ, or even in the fireplace.

The casserole is already pre-seasoned and ready for use, meaning it has been coated with vegetable oil, creating the appropriate non-stick film (patina) to prevent food from sticking.

Cast iron cookware has an excellent ability to maintain the heat of the food during cooking, which is why it is used by the world's top chefs. Cooking in the casserole is generally slow: the food cooks slowly, without temperature fluctuations, preserving its juices and creating a very flavorful result.

Additionally, cooking in cast iron cookware is generally much healthier, as there are no artificial chemical compounds like Teflon.

Note: Carefully measure your oven or fireplace to ensure it fits the size of the casserole you want. Cast iron cookware may exhibit aesthetic imperfections resulting from the casting or seasoning process, but these are not considered defects as they do not affect the function or lifespan of the cookware.
