In the British Isles, over 30% of sales in blended whiskies are Bell's, in Greece over 25% are Johnnie, and Bell's is almost unknown. It is a smooth, rather fruity whisky with a sweetness that is easy to drink. I prefer it as a flavor over many popular blended whiskies in our country, such as JW, Ballantines, etc.

In the UK, it is together with Famous Crouse, for decades, the top-selling scotch blended, but it does not have the same success in Greece. It is a "soft" whiskey, with light aromas without becoming spicy, leaving a relatively sweet aftertaste in the end. In terms of price, one of the best.

A smooth whiskey, with notes of honey, cereal, and sweet spices on the finish. A very good choice for a "social" whiskey. Along with Teacher's, it is perhaps the two best Scottish blended whiskies, up to €25.

And don't be swayed by the fact that it is relatively unknown. It is much superior to Haig, Johnny Red.
