The Winery of ASTIR X is located on the outskirts of the city of Kalamata, the capital of Messenia in the Peloponnese. Peloponnese is Greece's largest wine-producing region, known since antiquity for its vineyards. The winery's specialized viticultural team works with 88 local grape growers to cultivate 800 acres of vineyards.
The winery spans 14 acres and features covered areas of 2,500 sqm, hosting presses, winemakers, and stainless steel cooled tanks with a capacity of 3,000 tons. The wines suitable for aging are stored in the winery's cellar, inside French oak barrels of 220 liters, and mature under ideal conditions before being delivered to wine enthusiasts.
