It maintains the basics well, such as water, soft drinks, etc. It can hold materials for sandwiches, a small fruit or yogurt, but that's about it. The freezer space is small. It can only fit 2 ice packs in width, and it takes a while for them to freeze, especially if they don't have a lid or if they are the ones with the bag. It is good for maintenance, but if someone wants lots of ice, ice cream, etc., they should get a better one.
