The Positive Grid Spark 40 is not just another amplifier; it is your personal teacher, your band, and a complete recording studio all in one device. Designed to make practicing addictive, the Spark uses artificial intelligence to automatically create bass and drums that match your style, turning your room into a live stage.
The review is for the new Spark 2, which was released in September 2024. The sound is on another level. The app is the best there is; with the help of AI, it scans whatever song is playing on your phone and immediately gives you the chords to play along. It has an amazing looper, and together with the AI, it can follow you, creating a band of different instruments that follow what you play. One of the best things it has is the unlimited possibilities for virtual effects, and it's very useful and convenient when you select a song; you can find ready-made preset effects that others in the app community have created and shared. For example, you select Pink Floyd - Time, and you can choose similar guitar effects that Gilmour has on the guitars (similar). It is worth the money both in terms of amplifier power and sound quality. It can also be used as a Bluetooth speaker and has a Line Out and headphone output. There is a battery option for an extra 79 euros. Purchased from a well-known store in Germany. I hope they bring it to our stores soon.

Why the Spark 40 is the ultimate amplifier
Smart Jam Technology -> Play a melody and the AI instantly creates authentic bass and drum accompaniment that follows you at the right tempo.
50,000+ Top Sounds -> Access ToneCloud to download the exact sounds of guitar legends, from vintage blues to modern metal.
Auto Chords with YouTube/Spotify -> Select any song and the Spark app will automatically display the chords in real time for you to play along.
Voice Control -> Ask your amplifier to play a blues track or find a rock sound without taking your guitar out of your hands.
USB Audio Interface & Bluetooth -> Record your ideas directly to your computer or use it as a crystal-clear Bluetooth speaker for your music.
"Is it too complicated for someone who is not tech-savvy?" Although it offers incredible features through the app, the Spark remains a traditional amplifier on top. It has physical knobs for Gain, EQ, and effects, allowing you to find your sound in seconds without even opening your phone.
