Load Index

The load index refers to the maximum allowable weight per tire. The tires we install on our car must have a load index that can support the gross weight. To choose the appropriate load index and avoid instability while driving our car, we divide the maximum gross weight (kg) of the vehicle by 4 and the result of the division corresponds to a load index. For example, a tire with a load index of 91 can carry 615kg.

The speed index is the maximum speed for a tire when it has the correct pressure and is used under load. The speed index is represented by a letter at the end of the sidewall markings, after the load index number. A tire with a speed index of V, for example, has a maximum speed of 240 km/h.

"The Wet Grip" is the ability of the tire to adhere to a wet road surface. The performance is classified between categories A and E. Tires with a high wet grip index immobilize the vehicle more quickly on a wet road surface when the brake is fully applied.

The noise index refers to the external noise produced by a tire while driving. The noise level is classified into categories A, B, or C. The rolling noise of the tire is measured in decibels. Low-noise tires have a value between 67 and 71 dB. For higher noise levels, the listed value for sound waves is between 72 and 77 dB.
