All shades, except Black and White, include organic pigments with great lightfastness and beautiful hues. The acrylic binding agent is clear and colorless. As an innovation, our watercolors are offered in bottles with a pipette for precise and clean pigment removal.
With the binding and thinning agent being the same ingredient, it is possible to dissolve the color up to a day after it has dried. Even longer periods can be achieved with the thinning additive "Dryness Limiter."
Despite the fluidity of the color, the pigments are highly concentrated to maintain brilliance during the application of additives. Undiluted applications, especially of blue shades, may acquire a bronzed hue when dried. Thanks to the high specific gravity of inorganic pigments, this hue is replaced with Royal Blue. Due to the pigments' affinity for paper, the colors exhibit high mobility and a tendency for clean outlines upon application, which is particularly useful for wet glazing.
The thinning additive "Intensive Glazer" increases the concentration of the binding agent. Used in smaller doses, it can also reduce the absorbency of the substrate.
The mentioned lightfastness is based on standardized measurement procedures. Note that thin layers on paper are more sensitive to light than covering applications.
To maximize the lifespan of the colors, close the bottles immediately after removing pigments and keep the bottle neck clean.
Usage: The watercolor is ready for immediate use but should be shaken before use.
