All shades, except for Black and White, include organic pigments that offer great lightfastness and beautiful hues. The acrylic binder is clear and colorless. As an innovation, watercolors are offered in bottles with a pipette for precise and clean pigment removal.
With the binder and thinner being the same ingredient, it is possible to dissolve the color up to one day after drying. Even longer times can be achieved with the thinning supplement "Drying Retarder."
Although the paint is liquid, the pigments are highly concentrated to maintain brilliance when applying supplements. Undiluted applications, especially of blue shades, may acquire a bronze hue as they dry. Due to the high specific gravity of inorganic ultramarine pigments, this tone has been replaced with Royal Blue. Thanks to the skillfulness of pigments on paper, the shades exhibit great mobility and tendency for clean contours during application. This is particularly useful for wet techniques.
The thinning supplement "Intensive Gloss Agent" increases the concentration of the binder. Used in smaller doses, it can also reduce the absorbency of the background.
The lightfastness mentioned is based on standardized measurement procedures. Note that thin layers on paper are more sensitive to light compared to covering applications.
You can maximize the longevity of the colors by closing the bottles immediately after removing color helpers and keeping the neck of the bottle clean.
Use: The watercolor is ready to use but should be stirred before application.
