Description

The bearing cleaning unit is ideal for cleaning any RC bearing.

Cleaning Instructions:

  • Open the unit and place the bearings inside.
  • Fill the cleaning unit to about 1/3 with the cleaning solution and close the lid tightly.
  • Gently shake the unit for about 30 seconds or until you are satisfied that the bearings are completely clean.

Recommendations:

  • If you plan to use solvent, it is recommended to carefully remove the rubber seal from the bearing.
  • Do not clean the seals with any solvent, as some solvents may cause swelling and damage the fit on the bearing.
  • Wipe them with a clean cloth or use soapy water. If you choose soapy water, make sure the seals are completely dry before placing them back on the bearing.

Once the bearings are clean and dry, the next step is to lubricate them. Apply two drops of lubricant per bearing and rotate the bearing between your fingers to distribute the lubricant.

If you have ceramic bearings, you only need one drop of lubricant.

The next step is to place the rubber seals back in position. They should fit easily with very little force.

If you notice a wrinkle along the inner edge, simply run your hand over it gently in a circular motion. Now the bearing is ready to be used again.
