The copper tube terminals from the DIN series (galvanized) meet the DIN 46235 standard and are used for terminating copper conductors. They are an ideal choice for connecting wires to distribution panels, rails, or other devices using screw terminals. Using DIN terminals increases the safety and durability of these connections. Compared to soldered connections, eye terminals reduce the risk of wire and insulation overheating.
All copper tube terminals undergo an additional hardening and firing process at 700°C, removing all impurities from the material. Hardened terminals are less prone to cracking during termination, offering better performance parameters.
For the DIN 46235 standard, dimensional tolerances are: for size "d1" for cross-sections 10-150 mm² +/- 0.3 mm, for 185-400 mm² +/- 0.4 mm, for 500-625 mm² +/- 0.5 mm, and for size "b" for cross-sections 10-70 mm² +/- 1 mm and for cross-sections 95-625 mm² +/- 2 mm. The effectiveness of the termination depends on the proper use of the tool and mold.
