100% natural coconut fiber rope. Available in 4 different diameters, one of which is per current meter.
To choose the diameter of your rope:
- If the distance between the corner of the shade sail and the anchoring point (wall brackets, posts, tree branches...) is less than 1.5 m, choose rope N2 (⌀ 1 cm), in a double package for greater stability.
- If the distance between the corner of the shade sail and the attachment point (wall brackets, posts, tree branches...) is greater than 1.5 m, please choose rope N3 (⌀ 1.4 cm).
To determine the length of rope you need to choose, you should consider the distance between the corner of the shade sail and the docking point, and then add approximately 50 cm to account for knots. For example: if the distance between the corner of the shade sail and your docking point is 1m, the length of rope required is 10 m (2.5 m at each corner).
Fading Coconut
Coconut fibers, like wood, are a natural material based on cellulose. When exposed to sunlight, it is natural for them to undergo color change, often towards a grayish-brown tone. The main factor causing fading is the ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun, which negatively affects natural fibers, including coconut. Over time, continuous exposure to UV rays breaks down the pigments that give the coconut its brown color, leading to a gradual discolored appearance. This process is completely normal and inevitable for materials such as coconut fibers, which are based on natural substances. In our products, we avoid the use of chemical dyes or other additives to prevent fading, as we believe in preserving the natural texture and appearance of the materials we use.
