The HB3 - CAN 50W 6 Ohm 12V resistor is dedicated to HB3, 9005, P20D bulbs. It is a Plug 'n Play version, simply connect it to the bulb socket and secure the resistor to a metal component to prevent it from dislodging while driving. No soldering is required, installation is quick, and it eliminates errors.
The 50W 6 Ohm resistor with heat sink eliminates any issues related to the use of LED bulbs in cars with a CANBUS system. The use of the resistor is often necessary, even with bulbs labeled CANBUS, in vehicles where the CAN system is particularly sensitive, such as the Audi A4 B7.
