The diaphragms for the woofer and the midrange driver unit are made from Sony's unique Cellular material, previously known as MRC. This third-generation compound has been further optimized in conjunction with the driver unit's technical improvements, for even greater frequency response and smoother, more natural sound characteristics.

Midrange Unit

The new midrange driver unit is powered by a compact yet incredibly powerful neodymium magnet. The result is a shallower enclosure, designed to operate even in confined spaces and challenging installations.

Crossover Bi-AMP with selector

The audiophile quality crossover features optimized low-resistance membrane capacitors for clear high-frequency reproduction. The inductive winding and air-core coils provide clear mid frequencies and powerful sound on demand. You will enjoy remarkably low distortion across all frequencies and precise crossover gain control accuracy, even when using the components with a single amplifier.

Tweeter for clear high notes

Compatible with high-resolution audio, the soft dome tweeter diaphragm is directly connected to the voice coil and is designed to cover the very high frequencies of music, with a frequency range reaching up to 40 kHz.
