Celtic Atlantic Salt

Coarse ground sea salt mined from the coasts of Brittany, a region in northern France. The salt is hand-harvested using traditional methods and without the use of additives. The result is a moist salt, which contains valuable minerals combined with a high percentage of highly concentrated sea water. The natural gray color of the salt is due to its contact with clay during the crystallization period. It is believed to contain approximately 84 trace elements, with particularly high levels of magnesium and iodine.

Compared to other types of salt extracted from the seabed, Celtic salt is less salty, milder on the palate, and richer in flavor.

Usage: In cooking as well as in baking.
