The 100W resistor with a resistance of 10 Ohm features a heatsink to eliminate any issues related to using LED bulbs in cars with a CANBUS system. The use of the resistor is often necessary even when using bulbs marked with CANBUS in vehicles where the CAN system is particularly sensitive.
The resistor can be used to trick the bi-metallic flash switches in older car models, eliminating the rapid flashing phenomenon of the turn signals after switching to LED bulbs, as well as preventing the burnout of the third brake light after using LED bulbs for parking or brake lights.
After applying the resistor, you can use cheaper LED bulbs - errors will no longer appear.
Applications: DRL*, turn signals, reverse lights, brake lights, position lights.
Resistor for bulbs up to 70W (the power of a traditional bulb) when replacing bulbs up to 21W, a 25W 6 Ohm resistor should be used.
The installation is done externally to the bulb, do not cut the wires, but connect one end of the resistor to the positive and the other end to the negative (referring to the wires).
