• Elastic and waterproof sealing of expansion-contraction and junction joints in:

• Prefabricated concrete panels, exposed concrete
• Marbles and natural stones: it is recommended to always make a preliminary test

• Cement screeds and cement plasters or lime mortars
• Joints in floors subjected to medium-high traffic

Intended use: In indoor and outdoor areas, even in places exposed to frost, for partition joints, expansion-contraction joints and junctions on balconies, terraces, facades, bathrooms, showers, and frames. Suitable even on damp substrates.

Should not be used on rubber, plastic, or bituminous materials that excrete oils, solvents, or plasticizers, for joints subjected to high friction. Should not be used for joints in swimming pools.

Do not use in completely enclosed spaces, as the product polymerizes with atmospheric humidity. The material should be laid within 5 minutes of application to ensure good contact between the sealant and the substrate. Priming is generally not required.

For certain substrates (porous substrates or plastic materials), the use of a bonding primer may be necessary to achieve maximum adhesion, and its use is always recommended in cases where there is a risk of dust.

Silmat Color can be painted. If it is to be painted, the sealant must be fully cured. Use of elastomeric paint is recommended. Always perform prior compatibility tests between the sealant and the paint.

Packaging: cartridge 290 ml. Shelf life: ≈ 12 months from production in the original closed packaging.

Warnings: Product for professional use, follow any regulations and applicable local legislation. Work at temperatures between +5 °C and +40°C. Do not use in completely enclosed spaces, as the product polymerizes with atmospheric humidity. Properly dimension the width and depth of the seal. Protect the edges of the joint with masking tape, removing it and cleaning before curing. Silmat Color does not contain hazardous substances. It is recommended to be used in well-ventilated areas, avoiding contact with eyes and skin.
