Decorative, flexible, and extremely matte sealing material. Silmat Color develops a high degree of adhesion with most materials, ensuring the integrity and waterproofing of surfaces that are subject to deformation.

Areas of application:

• Elastic and watertight sealing of expansion-contraction and assembly joints in:
• granite tiles, ceramic tiles, thin granite tiles, clinker, glass mosaic, and ceramic mosaic, of all types and sizes
• sanitary ware, showers
• window panes and metal and wood frames
• precast concrete panels, exposed concrete
• marble and natural stones: it is recommended to always perform a preliminary test
• bricks
• cement screeds and cement plasters or lime mortars
• joints in floors exposed to medium-high traffic

Usage:

• In indoor and outdoor areas, even in spaces exposed to frost, in partitioning, expansion-contraction, and assembly joints on balconies, terraces, facades, bathrooms, showers, and frames.
• Also suitable for wet substrates.

Application instructions:

• The material should be applied within 5 minutes of application to ensure good contact between the sealant and the substrate.
• Usually, primer is not required. On specific substrates (porous substrates or plastic materials), the use of a bonding primer may be necessary.
• Silmat Color can be painted. If it is to be painted, the sealant must be fully cured. It is recommended to use an elastomeric paint.

Storage: ≈ 12 months from production in the original closed packaging.

Warnings:

• Product for professional use, follow any regulations and applicable local legislations.
• Work at temperatures between +5 °C and +40 °C.
• Do not use in completely closed spaces, as the product cures with atmospheric moisture.
• Protect the edges of the joint with masking tape, removing and cleaning before curing.
