It is exactly what I was looking for. In terms of size, it is between regular short socks and footies. That is, you wear it with sneaker shoes and it doesn't bother you if the sock shows like it does with regular short socks, nor does it slip off constantly like footies do after a few uses, especially with large shoes such as athletic shoes or sneakers.
