I am the owner (I would say collector) of many and expensive axes and I am now convinced that Fiskars are the best axes on the market in terms of performance/price ratio. To buy a better axe of the same weight and length (e.g. a Helko Werk) one would have to pay much more, risking ending up with something very expensive and not as efficient as the much-advertised Swedish axes. Especially in the X or M series, if one chooses an axe that suits their body type, they can "sleep easy" knowing they made the right choice. And without having to worry, for example, about how to strike the log so as not to damage the wood with their expensive axe.
