Non-invasive procedure performed at the level of the stratum corneum of the skin for the purpose of skin renewal through mechanical exfoliation. It helps in the removal of dead skin by scrubbing and wiping, promoting cell regeneration and increasing collagen production, thus contributing to the improvement of skin texture and color.
It can be performed on the face, neck, décolleté, hands, and back, promoting the formation of new cells. At the end of microdermabrasion, a burning sensation and skin dryness may be observed, which is normal. It is recommended to apply a cool hammer or revitalizing mask to reduce redness.
After activating the equipment, the suction intensity is adjusted, and the appropriate diamond tip is selected according to skin type. The skin must be clean and dry, and sun exposure should be avoided for at least 1 week prior.
How to use:
- Connect the tubing to the machine and the microdermabrasion handpiece.
- Place a foam filter before the diamond tip.
- Select the desired tip and screw it onto the handpiece.
- Adjust the suction intensity according to the table, maintaining communication with the client.
- Place the handpiece in contact with the skin and proceed with smooth movements.
- Slightly stretch the skin before sliding the diamond tip.
- After treatment, clean the skin with a soft brush or wet cloth.
- Use disinfectant to clean the diamond tip and sterilize the tips after each treatment.
