    Very heavy utensil, all cast iron. Mine was uneven on the ceramic hob right out of the box. When it heats up, it can burn your food if it's on high, and if your food burns?.....it's very difficult to clean and leaves a lot of soot. The handle also, since it's made from the same material, gets scorching hot and you can't hold it with bare hands. I bought it because of its price, but as they say, cheap ends up expensive. I wouldn't recommend it.
