  • This is for one disc. There are also models for 2 discs which turn the wheel into a channeling tool. I don't know if the models with 2 discs (they are wider) can work with just one disc. If so, you could get one of those and use it for both jobs. I didn't take the risk and got this one.

There are many similar, if not identical, ones from many brands. For 20-25 € it's fine, but for 57 as it is here, not at all.

They have adapters for many models, I didn't need them because it fit directly. One disadvantage is that on the inside it has a tightening butterfly and if you lift the wheel a bit, it hits and stops at that point. You need to be careful during installation and place it correctly. There are videos on YouTube for other models or even for this one. It is installed relatively easily. After you install the system, screw in the disc and close the guard, you need to adjust the guide. The guide is those 3 little teeth at the front. Loosen the screw a bit, take 2 rulers, place them on either side of the disc, and they show you the straight line that the disc cuts. Move the guide to this line and tighten.

Dust is not produced once you get past the start and the guard is in place. The vacuum cleaner pulls it in.

The cutting depth is adjustable. It only cuts vertically. I saw one model (Yato YT-82986) that has an adjustment for diagonal cutting. The Yato is different and probably has a circular saw function.

The distance from the guide to the cutting disc is about 6 centimeters for a 125mm disc. That's approximate; you should measure your own wheel for a complete picture. This means if you hit a wall, the cut will be 6 centimeters behind. If you cut in the middle and want to stop at a certain point, you can't calculate it accurately. It's better to measure and stay one centimeter behind.

For my vacuum cleaner, I needed an additional adapter so I wouldn't cut its own and could use it for another vacuum as well.

For heavy professional use, I don't know if it's suitable or if you should buy something branded and more expensive. For an amateur, it will do. I opened about 10-12 meters of joints in marble floors indoors.

Other models that are probably the same as this but from other brands are: Geko G80259, Extol 8807026, and Kraft Dele KD1979.

Models that look like this but are a bit different: Yato YT-82990, Yato YT-82992, Kraft Dele KD1978, and Vevor QGKFCZQGKTMXX8UN9001V0.
