Mammillaria marksiana - Mammillaria
- Family: Cactaceae
- Pot Diameter: 5.5 cm
The Mammillaria requires full sunlight in airy spaces. It prefers mild temperatures and should not drop below 5 °C, so it's best to protect it during winter. Watering should be done sparingly, only when the soil is completely dry. It is sufficient to water once a week in spring and summer, reducing watering to once every two months in autumn, and stopping completely in winter. The best soil is one that drains well, even better if enriched with inorganic materials such as volcanic rock, sand, or pumice. Frequent fertilization is not needed; it is enough to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
