The story of the Panagiotopoulos Estate in Messinia began in 1982, when Dimitris Panagiotopoulos, together with his father, an old vine grower, decided to realize his dream, culminating in the establishment of the winery in 2005.
Today, the vineyard covers an area of 150 acres and is cultivated exclusively in an organic manner, with the sole purpose of achieving a high level of quality and showcasing the uniqueness of the region.
Fileri is essentially a clone of Moschofilero, which is mainly found in the southwestern part of the Peloponnese, granting the regional unit of Messinia a Protected Geographical Indication for the production of the Fileri variety.
The Fileri from the Estate is an affordable wine, ideal for any occasion, easy to consume, light, and with an interesting aromatic palette.
