It does a pretty good job for the water in Athens. There are no longer any smells of chlorine, etc. I have no complaints so far after 2 months of use. It holds a fair amount of water and is easily enough for up to 2 people a day. If there are more of you, you will have to fill the pitcher twice a day. It has a built-in timer for changing the filter. If there are 2 people or even 3, depending on how much you drink, then there is no need to change the filter every month. Don't rely too much on the timer. For our needs and the liters we drink per day, the same filter can last over 45 days!

It leaves a taste in the water that takes about 10 days to go away. Prefer only the original filters and not imitation ones with questionable quality materials that enter your body

Overall, it changes the taste of the water for the worse, but it has been over a year since I started using the Brita, and now I am somewhat getting used to the taste.

If you are looking for filtered quality water without installation of pipes and various annoyances, as well as speed in a jug, here you are. I should also mention that a test was done with food coloring and it resulted in an extremely faint shade, and while my coffee machine needed descaling every month, I have gone over three months without the light turning on, so the water is definitely salt-free.
