Description & Specifications

Matte acrylic paints, water-based and specially designed for airbrush. The Model Air color range includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in modern history, from the colors of World War I and II to the present day.

Each color is based on extensive research by our experts from existing and previous military references, in order to provide the modeler with the maximum possible historical accuracy. Model Air can be used straight from the bottle or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver.

It is recommended to first prime the surface and then apply Model Air in several layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous film of color with excellent durability, preserving even the smallest detail of the model.

For using these paints with an airbrush, it is suggested that the compressor air pressure is at 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can also be applied with a brush. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended.

Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and does not contain solvents.

Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint inside the container, allowing it to be used in minimal amounts and kept for a long time.
