    The camera does not have a lifespan of more than a year. The first one I bought lasted 6 months. At some point, it stopped communicating with the app and also kept losing its settings. Despite repeated reinstalls, the problem was not fixed. I sent it back since it was under warranty and they sent me a new one. The new one stopped working from the very first day of use, shut off by itself, and then the power button would not respond to turn the camera on. The second camera I had bought lasted 11 months. The battery started to drain and would drop to 18% in 2 days, whereas before it would last over a month. Although both are covered by warranty, I will not send them for replacement because there is no point in constantly installing new cameras and going through all this trouble. Note that one camera was installed in a sunny spot and the other in the shade, protected from rain. Otherwise, the image is good with a wide-angle lens and easy installation, but what's the point.
