The oil (jojoba carrier oil) is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the tropical plant Jojoba (Simmondsia chinosis) and is a pale yellow, odorless liquid with good fluidity. It contains gadolenic, oleic, and palmitic acids, vitamins A and E, proteins, and minerals.
