INCI Name: Origanum majorana oil

The essential oil of marjoram is obtained from the leaves and tops of the marjoram origanum plant through the steam distillation process. Its color ranges from clear to pale yellow and has the characteristic, warm & spicy aroma of marjoram.

Uses and Benefits:

• It has been used in ancient times as a raw material in formulations with antiseptic properties.
• It is used as an ingredient in ointments and women's colognes.
• In folk traditional medicine, it has been used in products that act against anxiety and symptoms of flu and colds.
• It is an ingredient in products believed to relax muscles & rheumatic pains.

Safe Use: Do not use essential oils on the body without a carrier oil. Use almond oil, jojoba oil, etc. in a ratio of 10ml (carrier oil) to 5 drops of essential oil. Avoid use by pregnant women, children under 5 years, and individuals with heart disease and hypertension without medical advice.

Store in a dry and cool place, away from children.
