The Cheburashka rig consists of a suitable weight, an offset hook, and a soft silicone bait in the form of Tube, Worm, or Shad. The round weight features a snap that opens but then locks again after we pass the offset hook through it.

This particular soft bait rig offers amazing performance in fishing for Mediterranean Sea Bass in shallow waters during the Spring and Summer periods, when fish have specific feeding habits.

The Kamatsu Skladane heads are made of Tungsten, a material with a higher specific weight than regular lead, which provides more weight in a smaller volume. For this reason, the heads made from Tungsten have a quicker sink rate and better hydrodynamics, translating to longer casts.

They have a round shape and a removable wire that allows us to adjust any type and size of hook we desire. The lighter weights can accommodate the Medium Spinning technique, while the heavier weights allow for long-distance casting.

Usage is very easy, and all that is needed is to choose the appropriate silicone, pass it onto the offset hook, secure the offset in the stainless steel safety, disconnecting it from the weight and then securing it again. The rig is ready to be attached to the end of the snap.
