Laser Motion Sensor.
The DRL-12 is a laser distance sensor designed for controlling lighting in hallways and staircases.
- Precise detection range adjustment from 0.1 to 2m.
- Direct load up to 50W/12V DC.
- Compatible with AS-225 controllers.
- Integrated brightness sensor.
Operating principle: The operating principle of the laser Time of Flight distance sensor involves emitting a light signal and measuring the delay of the returning light due to reflection from an obstacle. This allows for precise determination of the distance to the object. This distance is compared to the specified detection range. If something appears within the specified value, the lighting is activated. This solution works perfectly for activating lighting circuits, for example, in open staircases, where it is important for the sensor to detect presence only on the stairs and ignore everything else.
