Laser motion sensor.
The DRL-12 is a laser distance sensor designed for controlling lighting in hallways and stairways.
- Precise detection range from 0.1 to 2 m;
- Immediate load up to 50 W/12 V DC;
- Compatible with AS-225 controllers;
- Built-in brightness sensor.
Operation:
The operating principle of the Time-of-Flight laser distance sensor involves emitting a beam of light and measuring the delay of the returning light due to reflection from an obstacle. This allows for accurate determination of the object's distance. This distance is then compared to the specified detection area. If something appears at a distance less than the specified value, the lighting is activated. This solution works excellently for activating lighting circuits, for example, in open staircases, where it is important for the sensor to detect presence only on the steps and ignore anything else.
