Laser Motion Sensor.
The DRL-12 is a laser distance sensor designed for lighting control in hallways and staircases.
Parameters:
- Precise detection adjustment from 0.1 to 2 meters.
- Direct loading up to 50 W/12 V DC.
- Compatible with AS-225 controllers.
- Built-in brightness sensor.
Operation:
The operating principle of the laser distance sensor Time of Flight involves emitting a light beam and measuring the delay of the returning light due to reflection from an obstacle. This allows for the accurate determination of the object's distance. This distance is then compared with the set detection range. If something appears within a distance less than the set value, the lighting is activated. This solution works perfectly for activating lighting circuits, for example in open staircases, where it is important for the sensor to detect presence only on the stairs and ignore everything else.
