The temperature controller is designed to directly control the rotation speed of 12/24 V DC fans in control cabinets or similar installations as a function of temperature.
When the temperature rises above the set value Tmin, the fan will start and its rotation speed will be proportional to the measured temperature and the controller settings:
The controller has a relay output that signals very high temperature or damage to the controller. During normal operation, contacts 7-9 are closed. If the measured temperature exceeds the maximum value (Tmin + Δ) for three minutes, the contact will disconnect.
In case of damage to the controller or loss of power, contacts 7-9 can be used to signal a fault.
The controller features a maximum speed start function to prevent the motor from stalling at low speeds, starting at maximum speed and then braking to the appropriate value.
