It has the following properties:

When inhaled, it dilates the respiratory tract and stimulates the respiratory center. It clears the sinuses by liquefying excess mucus secretions. It has a strong antiseptic action on the skin and the respiratory system.

It is useful in the care of acne-prone or oily skin, opening pores and reducing excessive sweating. Its anti-itch action reduces the desire to scratch and rub the skin.

It is an excellent insect repellent, as its strong scent keeps flies and other insects away. It refreshes and disinfects the air.

Warning: Lemongrass oil should be used in a diluted form.
