It has rich and realistic sound, at all levels! The surround works excellently, especially in movies that have Atmos. In short, it is... delightful!!!
As for its price, it may be a bit expensive but it is worth every Euro...

If you want to demolish your house, this is the only way! Bass from another universe, crystal clear sound, I challenge you to turn the volume above 30-40%. Connection with BT/wifi/optical is super easy.

The soundbar is quite heavy, it needs extra support if mounted on the wall, I didn't see this as a problem since it was placed on the TV stand.

The best. I've had it for 1 month and it has been tested with movies (perfect) - gaming (fantastic) - music (excellent). With a Samsung TV you don't need to do anything, just turn on the TV. With an iPhone for music, the connection is instant with AirPlay. If you find it at 800 euros it's a no-brainer, otherwise 990f.

Coming from an old Sony home cinema worth €200 back then... I have to say the following... very powerful and clear sound... a lot of bass... it's so loud that except for one time when I tried them just to test them, I have never set the volume above 30%... plenty of settings and perfect for music... but for movies I probably had higher expectations in the transition from 5.1 to such a premium home cinema... I don't believe it outperforms a complete 5.1 system with a good amplifier at a similar price close to 1k... of course, it's plug and play... you don't have to deal with anything and you get a very good surround sound...

The best you can get in a soundbar for this price. It outperforms sound systems of much greater value, as I have changed quite a few.

Amazing intensity, clear sound, satisfying surround, strong and clear bass. It's one of the rare times I listen to music and don't immediately look for an equalizer.

Connection to HDMI eARC Samsung TV and via Bluetooth to phones/computers, etc. Without any issues.

The Q-symphony works, but I don't notice any significant difference in the sound.

One note about the passthrough HDMI 2.1. Testing it, I found that it does not support ALLM and VRR, and I don't know why. Personally, it doesn't bother me.

I was a bit skeptical at first since I had a Sony TV and didn't know if the TV remote would work separately or together with the soundbar. In the end, it works perfectly, so I have one remote for the TV and I control the soundbar from there; the connection has been made with HDMI, so it's all good. (Included in the package). What can I say about this soundbar, it's the best I've heard whether in games, movies, or music (And the most important thing of all is that in movies the dialogues are crystal clear without any issues, where most soundbars in the series struggle). I recommend the 990d instead of the 990c, since c is a model from 23 while d is a model from 24 and has some extra features (Also, I don't know why, but you can find the older model at a much higher price than this year's model from 24, which is unjustified)

I bought this sound system after quite a bit of research and after reading many positive reviews on international sites. Although I was initially hesitant, as my TV is Sony and I wanted to maintain the company's ecosystem, I ultimately decided to go ahead with the purchase.

The soundbar turned out to be an excellent choice. It delivers amazing Dolby Atmos sound for both movies on streaming services and games on the PS5. The passthrough 4K at 120Hz also makes it ideal for gamers, providing flawless picture and sound without delays.

I believe that, in this price range, it is by far the best in its class.
