The PROFIMED-PTFE surgical suture is a sterilized monofilament non-absorbable surgical suture made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) polymer. It is used for holding in contact or for approximation of soft tissues, with applications in cardiovascular and dental surgeries.
