The black aluminum housing makes the Akasa Turing TN a subdued yet stylish modern case that discreetly fits into any hi-fi landscape as an HTPC housing.
The sleek front features a power button and two openings for USB 3.0 ports. At the rear, there are perfectly tailored cutouts for connecting the Intel NUC board and two preparations for antenna mounting. The Akasa Turing TN is fully equipped with aluminum cooling fins.
The processor and the case are in direct contact with each other through the heat sink plate, allowing the housing to operate as a massive passive cooler. The waste heat from the processor is evenly dissipated and released into the surrounding air through the large-area fin structure, absolutely fanless and noiseless!
The set includes a thermally conductive pad that ensures perfect heat transfer. The scope of delivery includes, among other things, housing feet, mounting hardware for the motherboard and data carrier, as well as thermal paste.
