Because quite a few of the reviews confuse people who want to buy it, just as they confused me, I want to clarify some things from my own perspective. Firstly, the machine has four operating levels and not three as many have mentioned. Secondly, it does not lower the overall temperature of the room for the simple reason that it requires a constant supply of fresh air. In simpler terms, the balcony door, if not wide open, must be at least halfway open. Otherwise, within ten minutes, due to the humidity it will create in the room, you will start to drip. You don't need freezer water or anything else, just tap water, and I repeat, FRESH air that can flow freely into the machine. It can also operate as a simple fan (it has this function). The most important thing of all, regardless of what you read, is that the air must always be blowing directly on you if you activate the function for the louvers to keep turning in order to cool the room, etc. Otherwise, there is no reason to buy it—just get a regular fan. The air that comes out of the machine is noticeably different compared to a regular fan, even in heatwave conditions, and if you do all the above, many times you will think you have an AC blowing on you. This is also why many people think it lowers the room temperature, which is not true at all; obviously, they are misled by the temperature the machine shows, which I assume is the temperature of the air it blows out. Finally, to summarize: 1. It cannot replace an AC. 2. If it is stationary, it does an amazing job and is a very good value choice for an office, for people who can't sleep with AC, etc. 3. The water consumption is 1 liter per hour so you can understand how much humidity it creates in the room. Honestly, I don't understand all those who say it helps the room's atmosphere; I guess they live in the Sahara. 4. Based on all the above, and if you can find a use for it, buy it with your eyes closed. Personally, I am very satisfied because I got it for a room I use as an office and didn't want to spend extra money to install another AC. I went through 40°C outside temperatures without any problem at all, and very importantly, I am a person who gets hot very easily and can't sleep even in May without AC. (With this particular air cooler, I managed to sleep several nights with just it, though not all, because as we said, it doesn't replace an AC—for example, if there is a lot of humidity outside, you will have a problem.) ATTENTION: Air coolers increase the humidity in the atmosphere of your space due to the use of water, so when using it, you MUST have a window or balcony door open to let fresh air in. Do not close everything because it will increase the humidity in your space and cause discomfort. Conclusion: It does not replace an air conditioner under any circumstances. If you are choosing between an air cooler and a misting fan, prefer the air cooler, but be careful with the size. This particular one is suitable for a large house. As mentioned in another review, place it in front of a half-open balcony door to draw in the hot air and release cold air, and it will have excellent performance.

Very powerful. Definitely better than the 9000 btu air conditioner I have, which despite being A+++, burned itself out. With ice-cold water, it takes in 36 liters and releases cool air like the air conditioner I had for about 3 hours. It doesn't target you directly because you freeze after a while. It increases humidity. I have around 42 degrees in the summer and it brings it up to 55-60, which is ideal. With open room doors and half-open windows because the environment becomes more humid and heavy. Consumption is 70W on the first setting, which is enough for my space of about 20m2. I don't fill the tank completely, but I add 6 bottles of ice-cold water every 4-6 hours at 3-6 degrees. The outlet air, measured with a laser, shows 22-23 degrees with an outside temperature of 34 degrees. (It may be a Greek company, I haven't verified it yet). If there's one thing I would like, it would be to have full access to the tank and not just a small door to put a couple of ice packs to cool the water inside all day (but the manufacturer probably has a reason for not allowing it).
