Following the great-grandfather's instructions faithfully, a distinctive distilled ouzo was created, which is offered to accompany moments of enjoyment.
In 1000-liter copper stills, using the batch process method, carefully selected ingredients are simmered:
- anise from Lisvori
- barley
- water from the region of Gera
- agricultural alcohol derived from molasses
- Chios mastic
- onions
- salt
The process lasts 9.5 hours, and only 2/3 of the distillate is collected. The "heart" of the distillate is diluted with pure processed water and enriched with pure, award-winning flower honey from Lesvos by the company "MELI ENA".
The final product is an ouzo of exceptional quality, derived from 100% distillation, with rich aromas, full body, and long aftertaste.
This ouzo pairs excellently with grilled shrimp, grilled octopus, Mytilene ladotyri cheese, and oriental appetizers, offering a unique tasting experience.
