COLLECTIBLE AND RARE SPECIES! This fantastic species is native to Sumatra, where it grows epiphytically on trees in shady, humid areas of lowland tropical forests.

This species is delightfully aromatic with deep violet flowers. It begins to bloom in the spring and continues to produce successive flowers until the fall season, with 2 to 3 flowers open at any time on each spike. Do not cut the flower spikes while they are green, as they will remain dormant for the winter and will continue to bloom the following spring season.

These wonderful plants produce deep blue-violet flowers that last well and have a lovely fragrance. Orchids are rare in nature.
