Rutile Electrode ER 150 3.25mm 5.0kg
Rutile acid-coated electrode for welding structures made of low carbon steels and fine-grained steels subject to static and dynamic loads during operation.
The coating of rutile acid electrodes combines the advantages of both types of matrix:
- Easy arc ignition
- Low spatter typical of rutile electrodes
- Higher impact resistance typical of acid-coated electrodes
The EA marking indicates domestic production at the former Baildon Steelworks.
Welding positions: PA, PB, PC, PD, PE, PF.
Welding current and polarity: alternating or direct current of any polarity.
Drying: 100-120 oC/1h.
Typical composition of welding metal: C - 0.07Mn - 0.4Si - 0.06.
