The Procraft BD1950 drill machine is a professional machine designed for making holes in various materials, whether for complete drilling or partial. Additionally, it can be used to increase the diameter of holes or to create threads. It is suitable for both home workshops and service centers.
Compared to the BD1550 and BD1750 models, the Procraft BD-1950 offers fewer speeds but has better torque. The torque and rotation speed of the drill can be adjusted by repositioning the drive belt. The connection is made via a belt, not through gears, resulting in adaptable torque and speed.
A transparent plastic shield is placed in front of the chuck, providing protection from wooden or metal fragments that may dislodge during work. The three-jaw chuck securely holds drill bits up to 16 mm (B16) in diameter and has a vertical movement of 70 mm. The supporting platform (quill) can be rotated up to 45 degrees and adjusted in height.
Special screws are provided to stabilize the quill in the notches of the metal support. The maximum quill opening length is 55mm. The model features a powerful 1950 W motor, lightweight construction, and good quality. For greater stability and vibration reduction, the machine can be fixed to the workbench using holes in the base.
