Trovet Dog Urinary Struvite is a complete clinical food for adult dogs with urinary struvite stone formation disorders. It contains low levels of potassium which help maintain urine pH at low levels (6.0-6.4) to help reduce struvite stone formation.

The magnesium levels in this food are low to help reduce struvite formation but safe to ensure that long-term preventive use does not pose a risk of hypomagnesemia. Finally, the optimized sodium levels it contains favor urine volume without promoting the development of renal failure.

Not suitable for:

• puppies
• elderly dogs
• pregnant or lactating bitches
• dogs receiving urine acidifiers (at full dose)
• dogs with urolithiasis with uric acid, cystine, and calcium oxalate stones
• dogs with chronic renal failure
