SAFETHAUS (Carthamus tinctorius) is an annual plant of the family Asteraceae, originating from India and the Middle East. The plant can reach up to 1.3 meters in height and its flowers are vivid orange. It produces dry fruits with leathery pericarp and seeds. The organic safflower oil (Carthamus Tinctorius) is extracted by cold pressing and contains high amounts of linoleic, oleic, and palmitic acid, as well as vitamins A and E.

Bavarian safflower oil is suitable for oily and acne-prone skin, offering anti-inflammatory properties and helping to reduce pimples and pollution. It can be used directly on the skin or as an additive in cosmetics, especially for oily and combination skin.
