The EVERPOL F Min waterproofing membrane is a polymer-modified asphalt membrane made from a mixture of cut-back bitumen and thermoplastic (APP) polymers.
The membrane is protected with mineral granules (MIN). The bottom surface of the membrane has a laminated thin polyethylene film (high density).
Proper surface preparation of the substrate where the membrane will be applied is essential. Any cracks or holes should be repaired, dust, loose materials, and protrusions removed to ensure the surface is smooth, clean, and dry. A layer of bituminous primer (BITUMOL or STEGANOL) should be applied to the surface with a minimum consumption of 400 ml / m² and allowed to dry. Unroll and align the rolls according to the application plan, then re-roll carefully to maintain alignment.
Next, the membrane is slowly unrolled, and the underside is heated using a torch until the bituminous mixture begins to melt. Side overlaps should be at least 10 cm, while end overlaps should be 15 cm. Using a trowel, carefully seal the overlaps with the melted bituminous mixture. Depending on the system requirements, the membrane can be partially bonded (overlaps and every 30 cm vertically) or fully bonded. It should be noted that partial bonding occurs only in the first layer of a multi-layer system, and subsequent layers must be fully bonded.
