Quick Reader

Lightning-fast file transfer and processing.

  • Plug-and-play.
  • Provides fast and stable connection, improving editing workflow on mobile devices.
  • Transfer without Wi-Fi and save your Camera's battery. The X4 does not need to be powered on for file transfer or editing.
  • Works as a standalone storage unit when connected to the Camera.
  • Footage will be stored first on the Quick Reader, increasing storage space.
  • Features dual USB Type-C and Lightning plug, compatible with iOS and Android devices.

How to use:

  • Insert a microSD card into the Quick Reader.
  • Connect the Quick Reader to the Camera and power it on. The "Quick Reader connected" message will appear on the touchscreen when the Quick Reader is connected.
  • Disconnect the Quick Reader and reattach the lock cover when finished.
  • Files on the Quick Reader can be played and edited directly in the Insta360 app.
  • Connect the Quick Reader to a computer for full access to files.

Notes:

  • If the Quick Reader is disconnected during recording, the file will not be saved.
  • When the Quick Reader is connected, the Camera will no longer be waterproof.
  • It is recommended to use official Insta360 microSD cards.
