This is the first "super shoe" I am buying/trying, so I will compare it with the other more everyday shoes I have (Asics Cumulus, Puma Deviate Nitro 2, Puma Foreverrun, and Nike Pegasus). I haven't run a long distance yet because I am injured, but the feel and especially the energy return/bounce is truly on another level compared to "regular" shoes (note, soft is different from bounce). I agree with my friend platis119 on the size; I have roughly the same foot length (28.2 cm) and got the 44.5, and there is still a lot of space in front of the toes. However, I must emphasize that this particular model runs somewhat long; for example, in the Deviate Nitro 2, I have the 45 (and it has less space in front!), in Asics I take 46, and in Nike 45-45.5. So compared to your normal size, you probably want half a size down, unless you have a wide/full foot, in which case I would choose your normal size because it is simply longer, but otherwise, the fit is on the narrow side. It is very lightweight (215 g, the others I have are all around 300 g). While it is a racing shoe, I have read that it is very friendly for amateurs (even though it has a stiff carbon plate) and can be used for daily training and at lower speeds without any problem. Of course, the faster you go, the more you will benefit as it is designed for fast paces. In the little I ran and relaxed (6:00 min/km), I had no problem, but at 4:00 min/km and below, when I tried a bit, you fly. I believe that at paces of 5:00 min/km and below, everyone will see a big difference in how much easier the shoe makes it. Of course, due to the thick foam layer (which protects the feet 100%) and the relatively narrow sole, the shoe is clearly more unstable than something like the Pegasus, which one must keep in mind. It is not for walking; it is for runners with a neutral gait and relatively good technique.

Finally, something somewhat negative, the right one weighs 210 g and the left one 219 g, which I have never seen before. All the other pairs I have do not have more than a 4 g difference. And I am not just unlucky. Previously, I ordered another pair which I returned as it had arrived slightly used and they had an 11 g difference! Probably the ultra-light foam has a large manufacturing deviation... However, the return turned out well for me because afterward, I found them with a 50% discount abroad, meaning 105 euros!

Well, the shoe is worth every euro. Coming from the Noosa Tri 14, it's like going from a Fiat to a Ferrari. Incredible feel, it's like you're not wearing a shoe. With the Noosa, I could feel my feet and they felt heavy after 4km, while with these I went 8km without a hitch (for my standards?). Of course, it's beautiful, no question about it. The carbon plate gives you an extra boost. First test today and from 24:50 for 5K, I did 23:21, and with a morning crossfit workout. As for the size, with a foot length of 28.5cm, I got the 44.5. The 44 fit me too, but I chose half a size up, so it wouldn't hit me in the front while running. For someone who wants a good running shoe that will give them that extra edge, it's worth the investment. And as we get older, we need to take care of our knees, ankles, joints, etc
