The first time in my life I came into contact with this fragrance was when I was 4 years old because of my father; it was also the first fragrance that made me fall in love with perfumes. For me, the scent that reminds me of summer is Cool Water, and although there are more remarkable perfumes on the market, this one will always be the best for me. Every summer I buy a 125ml EDT bottle and its price is VFM, unfortunately it doesn't last like the old Cool Water but that's a minor issue. 5 out of 5 from me, buy it without fear, and ignore every so-called expert here who studied perfumery in France and thinks they know everything.

Κάθε καλοκαίρι αγοράζω ένα μπουκάλι 125ml EDT και η τιμή του είναι VFM, δυστυχώς δεν διαρκεί όπως τα παλιά Cool Water αλλά μικρό το κακό. 5 στα 5 από εμένα αγοράστε το άφοβα, και ας λέει εδώ μέσα η κάθε expert βλάχα που σπούδασε αρωματοποιός στην Γαλλία το μακρύ και το κοντό του.

Το Davidoff Cool Water δεν είναι απλά ένα άρωμα, είναι ταξίδι στον χρόνο. Με το που το μυρίζω μου έρχονται κατευθείαν εικόνες από τα 90s ,τα μπιλιαρδαδικα, οι παλιές καφετεριες και εκείνη τη χαρακτηριστική αύρα που είχε εκείνη η εποχή η οποία δύσκολα περιγράφεται αλλά δεν ξεχνιέται.
Ο αρωματοποιος του είναι ο ιδιος που έκανε και το green irish tweed και είναι σαν να το πήρε και να το έκανε πιο καλοκαιρινο με λιγότερες διακυμάνσεις ,δηλαδη κινήθηκε σε designer μονοπάτια.
Είναι δροσερό άρωμα, αποπνέει καθαριότητα και μια ελαφριά πράσινη αίσθηση.
Μπορεί να μην έχει πλεον τη διάρκεια ή την πολυπλοκότητα πιο σύγχρονων αρωμάτων, αλλά έχει κάτι πολύ πιο σημαντικό ,έχει χαρακτήρα και συναίσθημα. Είναι από τα αρώματα που τα φοράς και σου ξυπνάνε μόνο όμορφες αναμνήσεις.

I am the "grandpa" described by those who leave bad reviews for this monumental and iconic child of global perfumery. Because nowadays, perfumes like Cool Water, Drakkar Noir, Polo Green are described in such terms. Not with phrases like "it reminds me of my uncle, my dad, my grandma" and other unbearable clichés. It should be noted that I own a plethora of perfumes, but this particular one has never been missing from my collection, ever since I first wore it in high school in 1991. Masterpiece.

Average, overused fragrance, reminds me of grandparents and parents who used to wear it, longevity is average too, max 3 hours on me, spend a bit more and get genuine perfumes.

I bought it because of the reviews I read here. I have other perfumes as my main ones, but from time to time I like to try something else for a change.
I've had it for three days and I'm wearing it. I would describe it as a neutral fragrance. That is, there is no way you will hear a negative comment or someone telling you it smells bad. Likewise, there is no way someone will be amazed when they smell it and tell you what an incredible fragrance it is (like they say about others I have). As for longevity and projection, it's ok. At least for me.
Finally, it's still early to draw a definite conclusion, but I don't think I'll buy it again when it runs out

So, the toilette has NOTHING to do with the parfum. They are two different scents! Anyone who has bought both can tell! I would not change the scent of the toilette for anything! It's a fragrance with a intense freshness, that would probably be recommended during the spring-summers in more of a day to day use, and not for formal events or going out.
It is one that has stood the test of time however, as it reminds you of the 90s and Beverly Hills 90210.

So-so fragrance. Obviously, it has nothing to do with the old Eau de Parfum. However, what particularly bothered me is its longevity. Even supermarket fragrances last longer... You put it on and it doesn't even last half an hour.

It is very good as a fragrance, it just has no relation to the corresponding eau de toilette. It is slightly heavier and sweeter, without that feeling of freshness of the eau de toilette.

Very nice fragrance for everyday use, especially in the summer you wear it after a shower and you feel super clean. You can even wear it at the gym or at work. Very affordable but minimal lasting power, it doesn't last more than 20 minutes. I suggest getting a similar type where it's even cheaper and has a longer duration.

In 1985, Olivier Creed and Pierre Bourdon created a unique fragrance called Green Irish Tweed. Three years later, Pierre Bourdon, the best perfumer ever in my opinion, used the successful formula he knew and created Davidoff Cool Water. An affordable fragrance with unique characteristics, very close to Green Irish Tweed. The fragrance was loved like no other and established a tobacco company in the fragrance industry, expressing the cool and daring spirit of the brand.
Cool Water was not targeted towards a specific age group of consumers. People bought it as a first fragrance for their child, but also as a fragrance for their grandfather. In 2008-9, the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) imposed restrictions on the use of oakmoss in fragrances due to its allergenic properties, resulting in many fragrances revising their composition and using synthetic materials to remain as close as possible to the original.
Among these fragrances was Cool Water. After the reformulation, its new composition was about 70-80% close to the original, with the drydown being even closer, while the opening differed, emitting a synthetic note that you would perceive (as if it smelled freshness from laundry detergent). Today, 15 years later and after several revisions, it remains the most popular fragrance. With over 200+ fragrances in my collection, I will occasionally spray Cool Water on myself, not so much for the fragrance it is today, but to remind me of the fragrance it was back then. Even today, there are a few pieces of the original composition, which you can find on the market under the name Davidoff Cool Water Original Lancaster, and you will recognize them by the different bottle and the different font on the packaging.

Ακόμα και σήμερα υπάρχουν ελάχιστα τεμάχια από την αρχική σύνθεση, τα οποία μπορείτε να βρείτε στην αγορά με την ονομασία Davidoff Cool Water Original Lancaster και θα τα αναγνωρίσετε από το διαφορετικό μπουκάλι και τη διαφορετική γραμματοσειρά στη συσκευασία.

The first time in my life I came into contact with this fragrance was when I was 4 years old because of my father; it was also the first fragrance that made me fall in love with perfumes. For me, the scent that reminds me of summer is Cool Water, and although there are more remarkable perfumes on the market, this one will always be the best for me. Every summer I buy a 125ml EDT bottle and its price is VFM, unfortunately it doesn't last like the old Cool Water but that's a minor issue. 5 out of 5 from me, buy it without fear, and ignore every so-called expert here who studied perfumery in France and thinks they know everything.

Κάθε καλοκαίρι αγοράζω ένα μπουκάλι 125ml EDT και η τιμή του είναι VFM, δυστυχώς δεν διαρκεί όπως τα παλιά Cool Water αλλά μικρό το κακό. 5 στα 5 από εμένα αγοράστε το άφοβα, και ας λέει εδώ μέσα η κάθε expert βλάχα που σπούδασε αρωματοποιός στην Γαλλία το μακρύ και το κοντό του.

I am the "grandpa" described by those who leave bad reviews for this monumental and iconic child of global perfumery. Because nowadays, perfumes like Cool Water, Drakkar Noir, Polo Green are described in such terms. Not with phrases like "it reminds me of my uncle, my dad, my grandma" and other unbearable clichés. It should be noted that I own a plethora of perfumes, but this particular one has never been missing from my collection, ever since I first wore it in high school in 1991. Masterpiece.

Γιατί με τέτοιους όρους περιγράφονται πλέον αρώματα όπως το Cool Water, το Drakkar Noir, το Polo Green. Όχι με όρους "μου θυμίζει τον θείο μου, τον μπαμπά μου, τη γιαγιά μου" και λοιπές αφόρητες κοινοτοπίες. Σημειωτέον ότι έχω στην κατοχή μου μια πλειάδα αρωμάτων, όμως το συγκεκριμένο δεν έλειψε ποτέ από τη συλλογή μου, από το 1991 που το πρωτοφόρεσα στο Λύκειο. Masterpiece.
Average, overused fragrance, reminds me of grandparents and parents who used to wear it, longevity is average too, max 3 hours on me, spend a bit more and get genuine perfumes.

I bought it because of the reviews I read here. I have other perfumes as my main ones, but from time to time I like to try something else for a change.
I've had it for three days and I'm wearing it. I would describe it as a neutral fragrance. That is, there is no way you will hear a negative comment or someone telling you it smells bad. Likewise, there is no way someone will be amazed when they smell it and tell you what an incredible fragrance it is (like they say about others I have). As for longevity and projection, it's ok. At least for me.
Finally, it's still early to draw a definite conclusion, but I don't think I'll buy it again when it runs out
Το πηρα λόγω των σχολίων που διάβασα εδώ. Εχω άλλα αρώματα σαν βασικά απλώς που και που μου αρέσει να δοκιμάζω και κάτι άλλο για αλλαγή.
Το εχω τρεις μέρες και το φοραω. Θα το χαρακτήριζα ένα ουδέτερο άρωμα. Δηλαδή δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση ν ακουσεις κάποιο αρνητικό σχόλιο η να σου πει κάποιος ότι μυρίζει άσχημα. Όπως επίσης δεν υπάρχει περιπτωση να παθει κάποιος πλακα που θα το μυρίσει και να σου πει τι συγκλονιστικό άρωμα ειναι αυτο (όπως μου λένε για άλλα που έχω) Τώρα από διάρκεια και προβολη , είναι οκ. Σε μένα τουλάχιστον
Τέλος, είναι νωρίς βέβαια για να βγάλω ασφαλές συμπερασμα αλλά δε νομίζω να το ξανά αγοράσω όταν τελειωσει

So, the toilette has NOTHING to do with the parfum. They are two different scents! Anyone who has bought both can tell! I would not change the scent of the toilette for anything! It's a fragrance with a intense freshness, that would probably be recommended during the spring-summers in more of a day to day use, and not for formal events or going out.
It is one that has stood the test of time however, as it reminds you of the 90s and Beverly Hills 90210.
As mentioned in other reviews, the longevity on the scent doesn't last too long, but evens out into a soft hint of a smell, would say worth it for the price however.

It is very good as a fragrance, it just has no relation to the corresponding eau de toilette. It is slightly heavier and sweeter, without that feeling of freshness of the eau de toilette.

Very nice fragrance for everyday use, especially in the summer you wear it after a shower and you feel super clean. You can even wear it at the gym or at work. Very affordable but minimal lasting power, it doesn't last more than 20 minutes. I suggest getting a similar type where it's even cheaper and has a longer duration.

In 1985, Olivier Creed and Pierre Bourdon created a unique fragrance called Green Irish Tweed. Three years later, Pierre Bourdon, the best perfumer ever in my opinion, used the successful formula he knew and created Davidoff Cool Water. An affordable fragrance with unique characteristics, very close to Green Irish Tweed. The fragrance was loved like no other and established a tobacco company in the fragrance industry, expressing the cool and daring spirit of the brand.
Cool Water was not targeted towards a specific age group of consumers. People bought it as a first fragrance for their child, but also as a fragrance for their grandfather. In 2008-9, the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) imposed restrictions on the use of oakmoss in fragrances due to its allergenic properties, resulting in many fragrances revising their composition and using synthetic materials to remain as close as possible to the original.
Among these fragrances was Cool Water. After the reformulation, its new composition was about 70-80% close to the original, with the drydown being even closer, while the opening differed, emitting a synthetic note that you would perceive (as if it smelled freshness from laundry detergent). Today, 15 years later and after several revisions, it remains the most popular fragrance. With over 200+ fragrances in my collection, I will occasionally spray Cool Water on myself, not so much for the fragrance it is today, but to remind me of the fragrance it was back then. Even today, there are a few pieces of the original composition, which you can find on the market under the name Davidoff Cool Water Original Lancaster, and you will recognize them by the different bottle and the different font on the packaging.
Cool Water is a fragrance that can be worn daily and is suitable for all seasons. Its longevity is good, and the combination of aromatic elements makes it ideal for men who desire a cool, yet masculine fragrance with versatile use. Ακόμα και σήμερα υπάρχουν ελάχιστα τεμάχια από την αρχική σύνθεση, τα οποία μπορείτε να βρείτε στην αγορά με την ονομασία Davidoff Cool Water Original Lancaster και θα τα αναγνωρίσετε από το διαφορετικό μπουκάλι και τη διαφορετική γραμματοσειρά στη συσκευασία.
Το Cool Water είναι ένα άρωμα που μπορεί να φορεθεί καθημερινά και κατάλληλο για όλες τις εποχές. Davidoff Cool Water is not just a fragrance, it’s a journey through time. As soon as I smell it, images from the 90s come straight to mind—billiard halls, old cafes, and that distinctive vibe of that era which is hard to describe but unforgettable.
Its perfumer is the same one who made Green Irish Tweed, and it’s as if he took that and made it more summery with fewer variations, meaning he went down designer paths.
It’s a fresh scent, exudes cleanliness, and has a light green feel.
It may no longer have the longevity or complexity of more modern fragrances, but it has something much more important—it has character and emotion. It’s one of those fragrances you wear and it only brings back beautiful memories.
A timeless fresh scent that always deserves a place in my collection.

Το Davidoff Cool Water δεν είναι απλά ένα άρωμα, είναι ταξίδι στον χρόνο. Με το που το μυρίζω μου έρχονται κατευθείαν εικόνες από τα 90s ,τα μπιλιαρδαδικα, οι παλιές καφετεριες και εκείνη τη χαρακτηριστική αύρα που είχε εκείνη η εποχή η οποία δύσκολα περιγράφεται αλλά δεν ξεχνιέται.
Ο αρωματοποιος του είναι ο ιδιος που έκανε και το green irish tweed και είναι σαν να το πήρε και να το έκανε πιο καλοκαιρινο με λιγότερες διακυμάνσεις ,δηλαδη κινήθηκε σε designer μονοπάτια.
Είναι δροσερό άρωμα, αποπνέει καθαριότητα και μια ελαφριά πράσινη αίσθηση.
Μπορεί να μην έχει πλεον τη διάρκεια ή την πολυπλοκότητα πιο σύγχρονων αρωμάτων, αλλά έχει κάτι πολύ πιο σημαντικό ,έχει χαρακτήρα και συναίσθημα. Είναι από τα αρώματα που τα φοράς και σου ξυπνάνε μόνο όμορφες αναμνήσεις.

I have ordered the perfume countless times and it is one of my favorites. This time, when I ordered it specifically from hitechstore, it is unacceptable, it doesn't smell like anything. Nothing like the original. It is probably a counterfeit.
