Clorexyderm 4% is a dermatological shampoo containing chlorhexidine, intended for dogs and cats with dermatological conditions or can be used for periodic cleaning of their fur and skin. It is recommended as an adjunct to local treatment of dermatitis (bacterial, fungal) because chlorhexidine has bactericidal/bacteriostatic and fungicidal/fungistatic effects against a large number of bacteria and fungi/yeasts.
Clorexyderm 4% restores the lipid protective layer of the skin, moisturizes, and normalizes pH.
